Led a team of over 25 undergraduate students in the design of the electrical and software systems for a high-power rocket flown at the Spaceport America Cup. Specialized in project management, embedded systems/microcontrollers, PCB design, and RF engineering.

Aided in the development of the electrical flight systems for a student researched and developed rocket. Co-designed and assembled the arming PCBs for the two commercial flight computers flown on the rocket.

Aided in flight software development based upon the NASA core Flight System framework for satellites designed by the CSRA team at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Integrated features of the flight software with the COSMOS operations and test environment. Developed preliminary interface software for integrating mission-specific hardware onto a satellite bus.

Constructed, troubleshooted, and managed a high performance computing cluster used to conduct computer vision research by researchers nationwide. Aided in unsupervised clustering and image classification research and the development of a tool to efficiently load datasets into a training algorithm.

Designed, built, and tested a magnetic gearbox prototype to investigate the viability of electrically-powered aircraft. Compared the design and results to work previously done in the field by the NASA Glenn Research Center. Analyzed electric generator performance data in MATLAB to identify irregularities and improve the performance, lifespan, and reliability of generator technology in aircraft.
