Team Leader for the Middleware systems. This includes employee evaluations, overall responsibility for software delivery, software quality and team development. The development aspect of my role involves business process automation, initially using JBoss ESB and jBPM. More recently I have developed a highly available work flow and business automation system that employed JackRabbit JCR and HornetQ. In terms of development process I have implemented automated build and test, a binary repository, and version control system using Hudson, Maven 2 and Nexus. I also implemented code review for all code checked in.

Senior J2EE Developer. Developing cloud services to provide email spam filtering. Used Cassandra database to store message metadata.

Team Leader of developers developing J2EE web application for Returns Logistics Services. Worked with Business Process Engines JBPM and Bonita to automate business processes. Technologies included OSGi, Spring, Hibernate, Java. Later in the project was involved in JMS messaging.

Role of Program Manager included managing the development team for their Rhapsody product, performing performance reviews, managing the schedule, providing technical input, and developing process improvements.

Managing Nothing But Net Limited, a small software development shop developing software for the financial services and transport industries. As the leader of a five man team I lead development of software on an agile basis to meet the needs of growing businesses in the financial sector.
