Currently working as an Operations Manager for 1st & 2nd Party Audit; helping clients achieve their internal audit and verification and supply chain audit goals; this across a wide variety of industry sectors and in relation to a mix of focus areas such as quailty, environmental, health & safety, social responsibility, equality, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability. Key parts of the role include (a) working with sales to help support the understanding of client needs and how the audit delivery team can help support that and (b) working with the client and BSI planning and audit teams across the globe to ensure delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations (c) aiming to exceed internal operational targets whilst exceeding client expectations.Prior to delivery and operations management around 12 years had been spent as an assessor of quality management systems, including auditing of environmental, health and safety systems; operating both on my own, as well as being the team leader of multi-disciplinary teams. Business partners ranged from small independants to large multi-nationals.
