Responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with the Devolved Administrations, to secure UK-wide alignment on travel testing policy. This included establishing and chairing a working group to build mutual trust and understanding across the four nations, and writing briefings and correspondence for the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.

Led the assessment and allocation of major, complex requests for millions of NHS Test and Trace tests during the second wave of Covid-19 in the UK. These included requests for the NHS, other critical national infrastructure, international arrivals at our borders, and national events. My role including evaluating requests against strategic, policy, clinical, public health, operations, and financial concerns, and I drafted submissions to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and other Ministers, advising on allocation of national testing capacity.I also managed over fifteen emergency, time-sensitive requests, including delivering a testing regime for French hauliers to transport goods into the UK over Christmas 2020.
