Sometimes experiences in arts and sciences come together in beautiful ways. A decade of bartending and a masters in science were a great foundation for making fine spirits. Pepper in a passion for photography and a love of working with people and you have a recipe for bringing those spirits to life in the complex visual culture of today. These days I thrive on showing the Empress brand to the world. Whether it’s giving a tour of our waterfront distillery in Victoria, educating a bartender in New York on the nuances of Empress Gin production, tuning the global marketing activities or fiddling with camera settings in the low light of a speakeasy, it’s all about bringing the story to life.
