Peter currently holds the position of Global Business Development Director at Petrofac Training Services and is responsible for the growth of the technical training services business. He holds a seat on the Petrofac Training Services Leadership Team and supports the strategic growth of the business globally.Previously Peter held the position of Strategic Development Director for The ‘TTE Technical Training Group’, and led the strategic growth of TTE’s International business from their offices in Dubai.Peter has 30 years of Industrial and educational experience. His career started at ICI UK, holding operational roles before becoming a Site Training Manager.He then spent 8 yrs as the ‘Head of Learning and Development’ for Dupont UK Limited, before joining TTE in 1999. Peter led the growth of TTE’s commercial business to many of the leading global Oil and Gas organisations, whilst retaining TTE’s charitable ethos.A couple of career highlights included being the recipient of two corporate best practice awards within Dupont, followed by the UK Northern Offshore Federation ‘Exporter of the Year 2005’ award.A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development Peter has continued with professional development, gaining two postgraduate qualifications in Training and Human Resources, before studying at MSC level in Organisational Change and currently an MBA with the U.S. HULT International Business School.Specialties: Oil & Gas: Learning & Developemnt, Vocational Qualifications, Education, Skills, Nationalisation strategies
