In this role, I Direct and manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the outreach program of the Department of Chemistry. In alignment with the mission and vision of the department and the university, I establish short- and long-term program priorities, initiate and maintain partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations. In addition, I create curricular materials and professional development programs, coordinate and promote outreach activities, identify and solicit program funding sources, and provide updates and reports on outreach activities. It is a passion to work to connect organizations and people to the great work the Department of Chemistry is undertaking. While we have clear and specific research happening in the department, the impact of that work will be felt in our community and around the world.

I taught General Studies classes in Science in both on ground and online formats utilizing the web and Blackboard to facilitate online learning.

I teach 7th grade Science as well as coach cross country and track and the high school level.

Adjunct Instructor for undergraduate science courses, which included Natural Science. Created curriculum and assessments, provided feedback and instruction on course content and skills. Facilitated learning in in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
