My career spans a decade of professional storytelling and research experience in the fields of journalism, higher education, politics, and government. Most of my work has consisted of writing for a variety of print and online publications throughout Massachusetts, crafting both short-form and long-form pieces on a wide variety of subject matter. During this time, I was recognized both individually and as a member of a newsroom at the New England Newspaper & Press Association Awards.I spent much of 2020 and 2021 as an adjunct communications instructor at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH, where I designed and implemented curriculum for three journalism courses and one film course.Since 2021, I have worked on political campaigns and as communications director within the Massachusetts State Senate, applying daily newsroom work-ethic to crafting content that is direct, creative, and efficiently produced.
