As a 25 year veteran in the music industry, I’m an active member of the Audio Engineering Society, also a life time member of The Recording Academy. It is an honor to participate in the voting process and attend the GRAMMY® Awards whenever time permits. From humble beginnings performing in the bar scenes in Detroit and New York (Bookies, CBGB's, etc.) to graduating from New York University in audio engineering and music production. 12 years in New York City allowed me the opportunity to work at such famed studios as Electric Lady, Soundworks, Skyline and New York University's Studios prior to opening my Quadra-Jet Studios East in Williamsburgh, Brooklyn. four years later Quadra-Jet Studios West in Hollywood, CA was opened. Peter Jay Audio Post north of Detroit is now my home base. For the past five years I've mixed a few thousand of Callahan's Music Hall shows including HD video productions and many live recordings to date.
