I like to collect moments. I believe in bringing decision power to the edges of the organization and to those who know and that can make a real difference. Real innovation and leaps in performance are created by knowledge, real-world problems worth solving, and by bringing knowledge and diverse mindsets into a safe space of collaboration. For me this is leadership – making sure purpose, context, and direction are set and that there is created space and confidence for those who run the business and can make a difference.I have spent 14 years in management consulting, and 6 years in senior management positions in the Biotech industry and I am driven by being extremely curious to understand processes and listen to people to make the world a better place. My years in management consulting have brought me across the globe, across numerous industries, and helped countless leaders and leadership teams. I have learned quickly to adapt, seek information, apply and set structure, and execute through the help of others.Through senior leadership positions within Strategy, IT, Automation, Engineering, and Digitalization I have learned how little I know and what leadership can bring of impact and results. Especially in these domains where it is impossible to know all the details and everyone is a specialist in one or more fields your success as a leader relies on your ability to listen, be curious, show interest, create context, and bring different perspectives together in setting direction and more output of the team than the individual ole, person or skillset. Once and a while when this succeeds it must be in the league of when a golfer hits o hole-in-one. I like to collect these moments!
