Where do I start? Copywriter, content writer, content designer, creative brainstormer, blogger, it was all in a day’s work at Powershop! At any one time my work included writing marketing emails, digital ads, social posts, web content, and customer communication campaigns from concept to execution, working closely with the marketing team across brand.

For a period I split my working week between two to three days at Powershop and the rest of the time working on freelance assignments. Worked mainly in support of web content agencies writing content for clients including Kiwibank and Inland Revenue, as well as for my previous employer (GMI, now Kiwi Wealth).

Planned and delivered marketing and communications content to KiwiSaver scheme members, private investment clients and prospects. Channels included email newsletters, website content and online video.

Managed content on sorted.org.nz website and related resources, from booklets to social media. Developed content strategy and managed content delivery for complete re-development of Sorted website (launched early 2012).

Freelance/contract writer and editor, working mainly on website content development projects for various web/design agencies and direct clients.

Project-managed website development for various clients, then moved to more of a focus on content planning, writing and editing.

Managed various internal communications projects including re-development of council intranet. Maintained content on the council's public website and developed new information architecture for the site.

Managed website and publications development for various clients. Also wrote and edited content and developed information architecture for client websites.

Writer in Communications Group working on internal and external comms e.g. 'In Touch' customer newsletter.
