About Peter Brown
I am a recent Cornell graduate with a bachelor’s degree in economics with a focus in behavioral economics. I have worked in the general real estate realm over summers for several years, starting in high school in Fairfield County, CT, and continuing throughout my college career. In high school I started interning over summers in RMBS focused hedge funds, namely Ellington Management Group, LLC and Structured Portfolio Management Group, LLC. In these roles, I worked with RMBS modeling in Excel and manipulating models through Python and R. Once I graduated from high school and moved on to college, I began in a new role over summers, with Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management Division’s RREEF group. There, I worked as a generalist, supporting their Specialists in each commercial sector. My responsibilities ranged from compiling and automating the entire research chartbook, creating my own original research which was then presented to the national team, and discussions with the specialists about potential changes in real estate utilization as my generation entered the workforce.
