This experience underscored the importance of being fully invested in one’s work, a lesson that ultimately led him to start his own consulting firm specializing in campaign and advocacy communications.Since then, Peter has been at the forefront of issue advocacy, leading initiatives like the successful campaign to ban fracking in New York. His innovative direct mail and digital campaigns have earned him over a dozen national awards, and he has consistently ranked among the top political consultants in New York. As the chief strategist behind Kathryn Garcia’s NYC mayoral campaign, Peter set a new standard for ranked-choice voting strategy and execution.In addition to his political and consulting work, Peter founded Mission:Clean, a non-profit focused on improving municipal sanitation and composting to combat climate change.Peter is also a competitive squash player and an enthusiastic hiker, exploring the mountains with his wife, Leonor, and their dog, Naia. He divides his time between Colorado and New York.
