Supporting Construction Leaders Club CEO, Terry O’Mahony in the delivery of business growth programmes primarily for SME business owners in the construction industry with specific responsibility for the Rising Stars Programme. Rising Stars was created following my involvement in CLC’s brilliant Mastermind Programme for business owners. During my business development consultancy work, over the last 8 years, I became increasingly aware of the need for business owners and senior management to work more closely together in order to take the business forward. The Rising Stars programme was specifically designed to cater for ambitious senior managers/associates who want to ‘step-up’ to the next level and take a senior leadership role in the future. The programme focuses on different functions of business that enable participants to close gaps in capabilities and knowledge, build confidence, and have a greater understanding of what it means to successfully manage and lead a business. The programme also seeks to connect more closely these individuals with the business owners in order that they are in alignment with business strategy and are working together to a unified ‘line of sight’. One of the delegates from a current Rising Stars programme commented:“One particular area, which I helped to drive forward, is the business strategy for BIM (Building Information Modelling). I came up with a road map of where we were and where we are going.
