Peter is a lawyer with extensive management experience who has worked across private law firms, the private and public sectors, managing staff and advising clients on public and private sector contracting, governance issues and arrangements, corporations law, transport and roads law (including risk management), industrial law, intellectual property and technology law, privacy law, and the development of legislation and legislative policy. Peter is General Counsel and Director Member Services at Bus Association of Victoria Incorporated (BAV), a Director of three BAV owned companies, and has been a Director at the Public Transport Ombudsman Pty Ltd. This title supersedes his previous title, Director Member Services and Government Relations, but includes all the same functions, including obviously the in-house counsel function. Peter has an LLB from La Trobe University and an Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from Monash University. Peter is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria. Prior to his legal career Peter worked for a decade in numerous project and community development roles with the Society of St Vincent de Paul.
