The BLSA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation established in 1844, unites alumni, parents and friends in support of the nation's oldest PUBLIC school. The organization completed the $54+ million Prima Perpetua Campaign in 2018, the largest such campaign ever to advance urban public education. The BLSA also benefits from a sizeable endowment (~$80 million; 420+% growth since 7/1/09) that supports an array of school programming. The organization boasts a team that demonstrates diversity as a lived value with a staff that is 50% professionals of color and a board that is widely diverse by race, gender, occupation, age, and religion - all working in common purpose toward the best outcomes for Boston's talented young learners.As President, I serve as the CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (and previously as Chief Campaign Officer), actively soliciting gifts of $5 million+; CHIEF ALUMNI and Community Relations Officer, creating programming that unites 20,000+ alumni and thousands of parents and friends in the life of the organization; CHIEF PROGRAM OFFICER collaborating with educational leaders and philanthropists in the creation of programs while also overseeing the disbursement of $3.5 million+ in annual funding from current use and endowed sources; and, CHIEF ADVOCACY OFFICER working to advance the community's understanding of the impact of Boston Latin School and the value of exam school education to Boston and the world.As CEO, I lead an organization that has produced more than $4.25 million in operating surpluses over 14 years while growing direct program support by more than 125% during the same period.

Led all aspects of a successful development program raising $6-9 million/year. During this period, the school secured four new endowed professorships ($2.5 million+) as well as a naming gift for the deanship ($4 million) from Allen and Kelli Questrom, a gift that opened the path toward a later school naming gift from the Questroms.

Partnered with colleagues in executive education, career services, development and the school's corporate-sponsored research centers to advance the connections between the school and industry, particularly in the realms of biotech and information technology.

Partnered with firm founder and president in executing C-level searches for venture capital clients seeking to enhance leadership in their portfolio companies across a variety of industries. Additional work for parent company (Fidelity) clients represented ~20% of assignments.

Top-level graduate admissions and financial aid professional reporting to the Senior Associate Dean.
