PURPOSE - Working to lead a high performing, technical and, safety conscience shift work team, and provide a psychosocial safe team environment to deliver reliable & consistent network supervision with appropriate and timely response & co-ordination for the NSW regional electricity distribution network. Our System Control team are responsible for providing safe access to the electricity network, ensuring system security and reliable power quality for energy consumers across regional NSW - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.LEADERSHIP - Building a healthy and motivated System Control team culture focussed on safety, mateship, innovation and collaboration.Sharing and applying Human Factors awareness & discoveries to assist in identifying opportunities to challenge how we do business today & help us to evolve with tomorrows energy industry with safer work practices from "work as written" through to "work as done" and meeting consumer and stakeholder expectations.MANAGEMENT - drive safety outcomes, hazard identification and control risk through integral partnerships aimed at developing frameworks through investigation outcomes, improving technical competencies, providing parent to peer evaluations, documentation and assurance checks to measure success indicators & set targets.Ensuring all related technical procedures are regularly reviewed, and are readily available for our skilled techincal & switching community to support how work is done in real time.
