Peter has a wide range of experience in diverse industry sectors across many countries and cultures. Having worked as the Global Creative Officer for Landor he subsequently took on the role of group Chairman for the evolved Landor & Fitch agency. His views on branding are often featured in the media and he is also a regular platform speaker in various locations around the world. Now working independently Peter offers advice to both clients and agencies on a variety of branding issues. Peter has always subscribed to basing any brand on a dramatic, cut through idea that inspires all audiences, both internal and external. It must then be amplified by a magnetic brand story that has a profound viral effect across all channels...if not? Its just another brand in a sea of brands. So what! The role included: working with the global management team, contributing to pitches, working on specific client accounts, developing an internal mechanism and award scheme for the development of 'brand ideas', creating viewpoints for PR, mentoring designated cross practice staff, developing the 'Landor & Fitch' brand across all channels, worldwide speaking platforms, contributing to the creation of proprietary brand tools, assessing and liaising for acquisition targets and WPP brand development/management.

Peter Knapp was Landor's Global Creative Officer and Chairman based in the London office.He was at Landor for more than 27 years, starting work in the London studio in 1993 and subsequently moved to the Hong Kong studio in 1994. There he had overall responsibility for developing and managing the studio, steering and directing branding programs in Asia Pacific. He returned to London where went on to become the Global Creative Officer.Peter specializes in integrated branding and design programs where graphic, digital and three-dimensional designs are used together to form total branded experiences for consumers and believes that brands should not be defined by boundaries or channels as they are powered by potent ideas and compelling stories.He is widely known for his unparalleled expertise in branding, he has extensive expertise in the airline sector: from flag carriers to low-cost brands. He also has a broad range of experience in other industries from around the world, including automotive, petroleum, spirits, sport, financial services, telecoms, retail & leisure. Some of his clients include BP, De Beers, Johnnie Walker, Baileys, Tetley, M&S, Reliance, EY, Adecco, Covestro, Capita, BBVA, UKTV, F1, Maybourne Hotel Group, Nar mobile telecom, Preem, British Airways, Etihad, KLM, S7, Alitalia, ITA, WPP, & FGS.Peter was responsible for the development of the Landor brand and also some of Landor's proprietary brand tools.
