CAD Designer of Automotive Lifts and Accessories which involves 3D modelling of components and assemblies, providing 2D prints and product specification datasheets. • Writing test procedures and participate in certification testing of new products in accordance to ANSI/ALI standards. • Create and maintain product installation/operation manuals and accessory installation instructions.• Writing of Technical Sales/Service Bulletin relating to product updates, amendments and new products/accessories release.• Manage engineering change orders from investigation to implementation within set critical deadlines and maintaining cost effectiveness.• Manage the design, testing and reporting of prototype components.• Manage ERP System including item setup, routings, create multi-level bill of materials and processing customer orders.• Provide customer service support by assisting with part number search, parts identification, troubleshooting, warranty review and custom order processing.• Provide manufacturing support by providing machining, welding and assembly drawings, solving manufacturing issues in regards to fixtures, welding and final assembly.• Participated in various Lean manufacturing & Kaizen events resulting in production cost savings and efficient workflows. • Coordinate project activities as required and provide input into project and resource management tools to support reporting to senior management.• Creating Hydraulic and Electrical schematics.• Designing and processing orders for custom builds according to customer specifications.• Design 2D CAD shop layouts for new OEM automotive dealerships, franchise tire & repair companies and private companies to help clients optimize workflow and space utilization.
