Based in New Bedford, MA, I'm a software developer and creative coder with over a decade of experience in web development, plus custom coding for the arts. I worked as the manager and Web Developer / Head of IT for a large French Quarter antique company called Antiques de Provence. For the two years previous I was a web developer at Tulane University, contributing to site designs, database design and management. I'm also a graduate of Tulane, where in 2011 I received an MA in Music Science and Technology (a program blending music composition, multimedia projects and software development for audio).I am quite proficient with both the back-end and front-end aspects of web development. I have designed a large number of sites from scratch (often creating custom Wordpress themes and plugins), and am adept at creating/editing graphics and editing images using the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, etc.). I am skilled in working with the key technologies used in current web development including PHP/MYSQL, html5, css3, bootstrap, jquery/javascript, and responsive design. I specialize in creating custom javascript applications and regularly work on independent open source projects utilizing js and its common libraries.
