I have over 6 years experience in teaching, mentoring and caring for over 1000 teachers from over 50 nationalities across the length of Japan. As a founding member of the Training Unit in Interac, I played a central role in driving the company forward with new and innovative training methods and resources, updating the existing system and creating new materials for the future. In 2016 I won the company award for Best Project for "iknow", our revamped online classroom course which I planned, prepared, produced and published. I also managed and edited our new 180-page teacher training manual.Every March, we held a large scale Teacher Training session for our new and incoming teachers who were about to begin their assignment in Japan (typically 200 people), and for one week we put them through an intensive teaching course that included 26 hours of workshops, lectures, demo lessons and life advice. From 2013 to 2018 I had been the project lead of this huge undertaking, always growing in scope and ambition each year, and always surpassing expectations.I also work heavily with digital media, creating videos, branded resources for marketing, and generating resources for our teachers and staff.I am also a self-published author, with a successful Kickstarter campaign, three full-length novels, a website and a growing online following.
