Universities involved include Basel university - (Switzerland), Oklahoma, Cornell, Wisconsin, (USA), etc. ON POLICY AND BILATERAL ISSUES: I have participated in policy and bilateral engagement both locally and internationally:I have worked with Leaders in Ministries of Livestock and Fisheries of Tanzania and Zambia on fisheries co-management Matters; I have led the establishment of fisheries co-management work in Zambia L. Tanganyika under FZS and look forward to scale up and replicate BMP learned throughout Burundi, Congo DR. and other African Freshwater bodies;CURRENT TASKS INCLUDE: Leading the TNC-Tuungane freshwater ecosystems conservation on Lake Tanganyika – Tanzania;Technical support to FZS on the Zambian Lake Tanganyika Fisheries co-management;Technical support and local leadership of the Seaweed farming project in Zanzibar – Tanzania.
