I conceptualized and authored two successfulapplications for grants from the US National Institute of Health (NIH): 1) One application for the development of new Generative AI algorithms for generation of chemical structures having specified properties. The methods outlined in the application have since become mainstream within industrial computational pharmacology.2) One application for a way to organize a database supporting visualization of structural relations between chemical compounds. I developed applications to demonstrate proof of concept for these proposed methods. Both applications received high scores on novelty and importance by the NIH and were granted.I also participated in general product development discussions and contributed with blog authoring.
