I started from Nike Equipment Division since 1998 Feb. It was fun to work for Nike since Nike has a lot of different resources. However, the most important thing is to learn the the development process.2 years after, Nike bought Bauer and we transited into hockey industry and involved more engineering projects in terms of tooling, material, manufacturing process. It pretty covered everything. As the only one engineer in the Bauer Taichung Office, I provided technical supports to different categories such as skate, helmet, protective communicating with factories and lead the functional product development.25 years working experiences bring me to another level to see things instead focusing on some small details only. By doing so, it helps me a lot and helps Bauer to reach the goal.Now I would like to move on something on my own to start a new business. I would like to start the buckle business on my own. The buckle I would like to develop is for ski/motorcycle/bicycle industries. That is a functional buckle and majorly produced in Europe. The lead time, cost are very difficult for Asia factories to assemble the buckle onto the final product. That is why I would like to start it.Safety is the most important things when we go out for sporting or having fun with family, friends. We want to secure and be the guardian for those who use our product. Safety is the best way to enjoy our life without any worry. Logo – Like you can see on the right bottom, BT stands for “Buckle Tight”Color – I use it in black as a start. Black color means serious. We treat safety seriously.Slogan – Buckle Tight, Buckle Safe.Font – It is not a standard font, however, I started merging “Arial” & “Elephant”.Image – The image under the logo means buckle up. It looks like the seat belt buckle to secure our life.
