Since leaving Navy he now has eight successful years delivering significantly improved business results as an executive and strategic consultant to Defence and related industries.A highly experienced leader from the Defence sector, broadened through work in other sectors including volunteer Not For Profit governance roles, Peter delivers strategic advice and outcomes through the skills of his team supported by lateral thought and independent analysis of complex business issues. He is an experienced senior executive and engineer having successfully led large and diverse, multi-disciplinary workforces in Australia in complex materiel-based outsourced service delivery businesses, and major CAPEX projects. His abilities are founded on an early career as a professional mechanical engineer, and have expanded into strategic planning and policy formulation, extensive Government and industry liaison, balancing technical advice with programmatic considerations, media management, and corporate governance.
