Responsibilities:Manage and maintain customer’s MS SQL Server and MS Azure SQL database environmentPerform the planning, coordination and execution of MS SQL Server installation, configuration, maintenance and upgradesBuild, monitor and maintain business continuity infrastructure and data recovery capabilities, including system back-up validation/recovery and administrationMust response to technical support email requests or calls within 30 minutesProvide on call support after hours to meet scheduled maintenance window and during critical production issuesMaintain system passwords as per company’s IT security PoliciesConduct systems security administration functions, including tuning, storage managementConduct quarterly health check on MS SQL server instancesMaintain database security by conducting security risk assessments, performing event investigations, reviewing personnel conduct in relation to data protection, and enforcing complianceMonitor performance and apply corrective action to ensure optimal performanceWrite and maintain database procedural and process documentationProvide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about the databaseIdentify, analyze and devise solutions to technical problems in related to the databaseInteract with customers regarding database administration needsUse established methodologies and documented procedures to perform assigned tasks and keep work / lab / data center environments clean, secure and well-maintainedTeach and coach others to enhance their technical skills, troubleshoot techniques and database administrator practices

Publishing system, Content management system, leave system, return and inventory management ensuring 99.99% system availability.• Service delivery management in the ICT department and closing all the raised calls within the shortest time possible.• Publishing system administration and configuration. Checking system available, troubleshooting• Automations. Using API to get data from the system while maintaining 99.99% of data security and integrity.• Database design and development ensuring that the SOP and professional standards have been followed. Using the latest patches on MySQL, Oracle, SQL, Postgres, Sybase, and MongoDB.• Virtualization. Using VMware to create virtual servers and configuring the Disaster recovery site.• Inhouse development of solutions using Php, Python, SharePoint, and C# to streamline business processes.• Data analysis using Tableau, SRSS, PowerBi, and Qlik to come up with executive reports and dashboards used by management for decision making.
