Primary responsibility was to oversee the standup of the accounting and financial reporting functions for JDP, including building a new corporate accounting team, implementing a new ERP system (NetSuite), bringing previously outsourced functions in-house (Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable), and creating new processes and procedures so JDP could effectively operate on a stand-alone basis from an accounting perspective. Ongoing responsibility for the global accounting organization, including: financial reporting, revenue recognition, payment of vendors, payment of employees (regular comp, sales commissions, bonus plan administration, share-based compensation administration), managing external service providers (audit and tax service providers, and multiple other accounting and IT consulting firms), supporting acquisitions, and integrating acquired entities into JDP.

In 4/16, BRG sold its Action Sports business, comprised of the Bell, Giro, and Blackburn brands. BRG operates globally and was formed when Easton-Bell Sports (EBS) sold its Easton Baseball/Hockey businesses in 2014.
