The Pioneer Energy Contacting Division offers asset management services both internally and externally right throughout New Zealand. We specialise in operations, maintenance and construction of assets providing electricity generation and industrial thermal energy supply.A subset of the Contracting Team at Pioneer is the Project Delivery and Development Team who manage construction projects for Pioneer Energy and its subsidiaries, from concept and busniess case development through to operational delivery.

Pioneer Energy is community- owned and based in Central Otago and generates energy from water, wind and waste. From electricity to energy efficiency solutions, we specialise in developing, owning and operating electricity generation and cleaner energy solutions from our 22 operational asset sites and plant across New Zealand.

Pioneer Energy is a small 100% renewable electricity generation company in central Otago. They are owned by the Central Lakes Community Trust and have a number of small hydro and wind generation sites.
