From both my working situation and my role within the Scouting Organisation I have gained many skills to support my application.My latest employment with Tradebe has given me many skills and experiences to support my future career choices. I improved my knowledge covering many skills such as; how to best operate and effectively maintain a GC, different types of distillation (along with how and why the equipment was used) and increased my knowledge of analytical tests. This was well complemented by adding to the theoretical knowledge I had learned about specialised instruments such as; GC-FID, GC-MS, XRF and ICP-AES. I also became very familiar with many common laboratory tests.In my time at Tradebe I helped the company beyond my job description, by recognising the need and created a digital logbook for samples. After 3 years I was promoted to Senior Chemist and worked this role for 2 and a half years. Whilst on a nightshift I ensured processes were running safely and the quality optimised and this was recognised by my manager as being vigilant and proactive.Towards the end of my time at Tradebe, I was dealing with some personal issues. They proved to be more difficult than I initially thought, so I left my post to resolve them. Having sorted those issues out, I am now ready to learn more as I have the willingness and motivation to do so and would like to progress on to something more challenging. I am keen to be part of a growing organisation that allows professional and personal development. I am open to a move within any industry, as I am confident my skills and experience are transferable.First Aid at Work, valid until February 2021.I have a full, clean, UK driving licence and my working attendance record is 100%.
