I have worked in the leisure & tourism industry for 25 years.I started my career with Haven, followed by Parkdean Resorts, before then moving on to Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks.I am currently with my new employer Park Leisure as a Park Services ManagerMy goal is to progress into higher management in the coming future.I am extremely passionate about what I do and thrive on the challenge of improving both guests and teams feedback with a positive attitude.I am highly organised and driven and take pride in helping team achieve both personal and career goals.I started my Holiday Park Management role in the touring and camping side of the business with Haven in 2000. My team and I improved the guest feedback and exceeded budget every year and I also won the Parks Employee of the Year 2 years running, which I was very proud of.Due to our success, I was then promoted to Park Services Manager for Haven and increased the Park Service feedback scores with both Guests and Owners.This also contributed towards the Park becoming a 4 star park for the first time.I then moved on to become Park Services Manager/ Deputy General Manager with Parkdean in 2013 at their flagship park in Croyde, Devon.My goal was to improve the Guest and Owners Service feedback, which I achieved and constantly thrived on.Due to this, Higher management within the company gave me the role of training the estate of over 60 parks in best practices, Service and profit improvement plans and ways of effectively working to achieve both short and long terms goals.I was also asked to train the Apprentices joining the business on ways to achieve high levels or Service and exceed expectations.I won the Outstanding Contribution award in 2015 at our annual management conference, which I am extremely proud of to this day.I then went on to being a Deputy General Manager with Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks in 2021, where I enjoyed the new challenges and ways of working.In April 2022 I moved to Park Leisure as Park Services Manager.I continue thriving on achieving the Parks goals with the team and exceeding expectations with both Guests and Owners.I am very proud of what we have achieved in my first year and at the same time enjoying having a great work/ Life balance.In October 2023 I Won Maintenance Manager of the year for the Park Leisure/ Park holidays at our annual conference which again I am very proud of.I have always had a great relationship with all the team members I have worked with, including higher Management and am still In close contact with the majority of them to this day.
