I have over 30 years of extensive experience in the London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire property markets. I progressed through the ranks from Junior to Area Director looking after 9 sales branches in London for a corporate agent in the 80s. In the 90s I was asked to open and build a lettings and property management department for this company, as the new division grew it eventually covered the London sales branches. A partnership opportunity took me to Marylebone, to create a new sales and lettings department for an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, providing a more personal service for clients. The brand in the market grew, the chance to sell and be based in my native Hertfordshire came in 2005 when I joined Darwoods.Darwoods became part of the Leaders Group, which itself has grown substantially as a market leading company, setting high standards in the lettings industry.As Area Manager I am able to use with Leaders the best mix of resources for our clients and customers, where we strive to build and retain a very personal customer service relationship. This has led to the Darwoods team receiving recognition from the AllAgents awards in 2013 achieving best letting agent in the St Albans category – Gold awarded, best letting agent in the Hertfordshire category – Silver awarded and best letting agent in the East Anglia category – Bronze awarded. In 2014 in the same awards we received similar consistent results. Through our estate agency sales departments in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire we also offer professional advice on a wide range of services. Leaders have a strong track record of growing through acquisitions, which has very much been the case in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire where I have been involved with integrating 5 all different but highly successful independent businesses into Leaders. Leaders are always looking for new acquisition opportunities, our staff retention record is really high this is an area we pride ourselves in.
