I've been writing about travel ever since my first book was published, using the credibility that came with being an author to encourage people to travel more adventurously.In the early days, that took the form of talks and presentations whenever a book was published and through regular appearance on radio and TV, especially when I was the resident travel expert on The Morning Show with Sarah McDonald on Triple J and on Tim Cox's late night program on Radio National, both in Australia.After taking a bit of a breather when I became a father and couldn't travel as much, I'm currently rebooting the role, growing my profile on Facebook and Instagram and undertaking press trips. Recent trips include Antigua with Finn Partners, Armenia with Edelman, Latvia with AM+A Marketing & Media Relations and the Seychelles with PR Mediaco.
