Resident priest re-establishing a permanent Anglican presence after 40 years without one. Previous ministry was in English. It had been changes to Spanish 20 years previously but only with a minister visiting from Buenos Aries 800km away. It had reached a regular monthly visit before my appointment. This was the only Anglican ministry in the south of Argentina and included regular visits to Bariloche, the snow resort near the border with Chile. I was assisted by an Argentine lay minister initially and then an Argentine priest who took over the ministry.
