As a specialist in translating technical speak into casual and casual into technical, I love helping people "get where they need to go". Many know what they want to accomplish, they just need some help getting there! Whether it's finding the right tool for the job, or refining a workflow to ensure results, I aim to ensure that clients are guided on their way to success!We all use technology everyday, it's a cornerstone of getting things done in the modern world. I've found many instances where these technologies are designed to improve our workflows and reduce our manual labor and inputs. The only catch? Learning new technologies and programs can be hard!I love learning new things and live for the sense of accomplishment when hard work pays off by saving me time or simplifying my life. My love for efficiency has driven me toward helping others improve their workflows through innovative technologies that they are adapting to using. Since I teach tabletop games as a hobby, I incorporate the same strategies when teaching these new technologies and refining their use for their users. This refinement process then loops back to the designer of the technology, enabling them to make even more improvements for their users! I find bridging this gap between developer and user rewarding, as it allows each side to work toward the same end goal. I use the same process for teaching users a new technology or program that I do when I teach a friend a new tabletop game. In the same way that I start with the overall objective of a new game, a foundational knowledge of the user's goals in combination with the capabilities of the technology are key to the user's success.
