Peter has provided HSE support to five mega-projects (contract values ranging from 1.4 to 18 billion USD) in North America and the Middle East during the last 19 years. Additionally, industrial hygiene, government contracts and environmental expertise significantly aided legal counsel, during protracted burn pit litigation, culminating in dismissal of multi-district litigation in Federal court as well as the US Supreme Court upholding a US Circuit Court of Appeals decision. As an ISO 9001 and 14001 Lead Auditor, Peter can lead the development, implementation, and/or update of HSE Management Systems. Proven ability to develop a Safety culture, resulting in a 37% TRIR reduction (2022 vs. 2021) and a 36% reduction (2023 vs. 2022) in recordable injuries. Environmental program manager for a multi-billion dollar ethylene cracker construction project in Baytown, Texas. Oversee all environmental aspects including: solid wastes; permitting; stormwater; noise and illumination surveys; air emissions and water discharges; auger cast pile drilling; and, concrete batch plant. Prepared and implemented Environmental and Solid Waste Management Plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plans. Prepared water quality and discharge monitoring plans. Ensured compliance with all Federal, State and Local environmental regulations pertaining to stormwater, air emissions and water quality / water discharges. Ensure stormwater is managed and discharged in accordance with the General Permit to Discharge under the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and Harris County requirements. Ensure concrete batch plant air emissions are managed in accordance with TCEQ standard air permit. Designed and implemented cost effective neutralization (carbon dioxide sparging) for concrete truck rinse water thereby allowing recycling through on-site dust suppression. Documented cost savings of $144,000 per year. Additional cost savings of over $1,100,000 realized through evaluation of soils using synthetic precipitation leaching procedure. Greater Detroit Area

P&L responsibility for office and management of over 30 technical and support staff. Prior to office manager role, served as Division Manager for hydrocarbon services in state of Michigan. Responsible for training and quality assurance/quality control of hydrocarbon investigations, safety, field design tests (vacuum extraction and groundwater pump tests) and remediation. Supervised a staff of 9 geologists and two engineers as division manager. Successfully installed and operated the first vacuum enhanced modular remedial system in the US. Utilized biodegradation/bioremediation, natural attenuation, and risk assessments where applicable. Clients included Amoco, Mobil, Emro, Marathon, Chrysler, General Motors and Ford.
