Application analyst for the Ambulatory team.

• Lead Analyst responsible for facilitating processes and daily operations of EPIC Ambulatory Specialty Build, E-Prescribe, and loading ICD9/ICD10/SNOMED content into the EPIC Proof of Concept (POC) Environment for the 11 HHC facilities.• Develop an efficient process for creating Integrated Clinical Information Systems (ICIS) workgroups that will make enterprise wide decisions as to the configuration of EPIC for implementation.• Strategize how to assemble a Clinical Content Build Out Focus group that will make enterprise wide decisions for the configuration of Ambulatory Specialty departments for Epic implementation.• Analyze and document business requirements and processes; communicate requirements to technical personnel through the construction of basic conceptual data, process models and flowcharts, and technical specifications.• Interview end users, and identify subject matter experts, in order to assess business and clinical needs. As well as to create business, functional and technical requirements documents based on captured data and in accordance with departmental protocol/standards.• Provide project management team with identified risks, concerns, and ambiguities discovered during the gathering of requirements; assist team in developing solutions.• Partner with project managers to complete requirements documentation in accordance with project schedule.• Ensure that all quality standards comply with internal policies and industry standards.

• Work directly with Practice Administrator in daily operations and general management for multiple specialty departments • Responds to inquiries regarding all specialty departments and maintains sufficient knowledge of Hospital and department regulations and policies in order to answer inquiries appropriately• Sustain working relationships with vendors and outside departments to ensure all tasks are executed effectively and in a timely fashion• Schedules appointments and notifies staff of meetings as well as record notes of staff meetings• Assist in compiling data in preparation of reports, periodic summaries and special projects• Track activities of all departments and informs the Practice Administrator of any critical situations• Assist supervisors in assigned departments with project rollouts and staff compliance
