Were you ever asked the questions: What makes you stand out? What makes you unique? Tough questions, right? I was advised to ask people close to me how they would answer that question for me. So, I did. The responses overwhelmed me. One simply said “trustworthy”. Another was more descriptive: “an inner peace, perhaps called grace. A good listener. Easy to talk to.” Then she added, “eagerness and patience.” Another… “joy, interested, inspired, loving-not sure about unique to you, but uniquely expressed by you.” And yet another, “dedicated, prompt, precise, good personal presentation.”These qualities describe my management style. By employing these strengths, I am able to adapt my personal approach in response to diverse situations and people. My strengths enable me to respond to challenges in the work environment with creativity and resilience. Creating collaborative team environments and witnessing the positive effects of my efforts to build strength and develop confidence in others is a great source of satisfaction for me.
