They are responsible for the T&E group of officers and must ensure that the allocated jobs each day are performed on time and in a professional manner. The role also involves making sure that all time frames and incidents are reported to all applicable stakeholders and departments. Ensure that there are sufficient employees rostered each day, allocate appropriate staff to each job, brief staff to ensure they carry out their duties as per the T&E Policy and Procedure Manuals (PPM). Ensure all Work Orders are completed in a legible manner and are sent to the Operational Service Centre (OSC). Complete all daily registers and reports and send them to the allotted departments.You will also be required to assist the T&E/Centre Manager to ensure operational employees are aware of the security processes for dealing with detainees as set out in Department Operational Updates, Manager’s Rules, Operational Orders and those Australian Border Force (ABF) Policies agreed within the Contract.
