• Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organizations data, systems and networks.• Troubleshooting security and network problems.• Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.• Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.• Participating in the change management process.• Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.• Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.

• Supporting and maintaining relevant technologies within a VMware-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (View, vCentre, vSphere, UEM).• Supporting and maintaining other end-user computing solutions including physical desktops with VMware Horizon Mirage and mobile devices using VMware AirWatch.• Windows Desktop and Server technologies - Active Directory, Group Policy Management etc• Supporting the development and maintenance of disaster recovery policies and procedures in relation to the EUC environment.• Delivering exceptional service to all users of IT, within a structured IT environment aligned to industry standard frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001, ISO9001).• Using automation wherever possible to build new, or improve existing, technical capabilities, thus driving down the rate of BAU IT operations.• Working within established IT controls to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information throughout the organisation.

• Ensure all support issues are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.• Aid infrastructure engineers on project work when required.• Assisting with the installation and implementation of hardware & software to an agreed time scale. • Assisting in the development of any networked based systems that may be required. • Assisting in testing and maintaining the business continuity plans for the IT equipment within DAS• Production and maintenance of documentation relating to IT equipment • Support all DAS regional offices remotely and attend site when necessary to assist with issues. • Endeavouring to perform first time fixes by owning the tasks requests from start to resolution • Perform service requests in line with service schedule SLA’s • To share knowledge to other members of the team in common user issues • Maintain the IT department’s strict quality standards to ensure that the service offered to customers is of agreed standards. • Assist with managing customer expectations • To maintain a high level of customer service
