Experienced with all the systems that make up sewage treatment plants.Have been involved in commissioning on jobs for Queensland Urban Utilities, Gold Coast City Council, Hunter Water, Sydney Water, Melbourne Water and many others. Systems commissioned have included inlet screening systems (Step screens, drum screens, bar screens and band screens) grit removal systems, aeration tanks, chemical dosing systems, scum removal, methanol dosing, clarifiers, digesters, sludge dewatering systems (belt presses and centrifuges), polymer dosing systems, digester hot water systems, digester gas distribution, fuel storage and distribution systems, foul air extraction and soil bed odour control systems.

Responsibilities have included design, estimating, commissioning, project procurement, application for EPA and Work cover approvals and licensing for fuel facilities, site supervision and project management. Involved in the preparation of the companies quality plan and procedures and responsible for maintaining and monitoring the companies quality systems.Projects undertaken include:Design and management of various projects with Sydney Water Sewerage Treatment Plants eg: upgrading hot water generation system, screenings, Dewatering and transfer systems. Also Melbourne Water Grit and Screenings upgrade works. Design and project management of a methanol storage and dosing facility and process conversion of aeration tanks to 4- stage Bardenpho biological reactors at St. Marys Sewerage Treatment Plant.Design and specification of both mobile and fixed fuel storage and dispensing facilities to comply with AS 1940. Capacity ranging from 2.5kL to 300kL.Establishment and management of routine maintenance and breakdown repair system for fuel depots for BP Australia throughout NSW and QLD.Installation of country fuel depot pollution control facilities. The scope of work included construction of concrete slabs, installation of drainage pipework, associated tankage and coalescing plate separators. Fuel projects also include the upgrading of aircraft refuelling installations including the installation of bowsers and stainless steel pipework.Special tasks undertaken include preparing and obtaining approvals from WorkCover for temporary lifting devices for use in various projects.

Responsibilities included heat load calculations, selection of air conditioning equipment, air distribution and pipework design and estimation of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
