I took on the role as Service Manager for an independent repair shop that specialized in European Auto Repairs. I was responsible for all aspects of front end parts and service management.During my tenure I was able to help reunite Auto Haus Motors (originally known as German Auto Haus) again with their original owner and founder Martin Steger who started the operation back in the mid 70's. Although Martin lived out of the area he made 4 trips up to Auto Haus to work as a lead Porsche repair specialist on special vintage Porsche air cooled projects for Auto Haus customers. Working with Martin will be an experience I will always treasure. He is a gentlemen and an experienced wealth of knowledge in Porsche restoration service and repair.It was a great experience yet very saddening to see the current owners of Auto Haus decide to close the operation during the fall of 2014.
