About Peter Persson

Dr Persson’s broader research interests are in computational mechanics where he aims at solving problems within the field of civil and vehicle engineering. He currently focuses on developing computational methods and strategies with applications to predicting and reducing vibration and noise in structures. Other research areas of interest are fluid-structure interaction and soil-structure interaction problems. My current focus is to include meta-models based on machine learning methods into our computational frameworks of solving engineering problems involving vibration and structure-borne sound.
