I currently work for The AA in the role of a Performance Leader which entails the day to day observing and running of a team of remote roadside technicians undertaking Breakdowns and Recoveries at the roadside.I have been working for The AA since 2007 and before that I worked within the same Garage group for 22 years.Through out my career with The AA I have been very fortunate to learn and put into practice many valuable skills that include Delivering Operational Excellence for the Company, Customer Service, Team Leading, Team Coaching/Training and Team Management working within strict time frames including holding regular 1:2:1`s with individual team members, analysing appropriate and relevant data to continuously improve team performance, Identifying key competences, promoting best practices to continually improve services qualities through time action plans with smart objectives and targets, arranging skill assessments and relevant training where required.Successfully utilising resources by monitoring productive hours and shift patterns, minimising absence through return to work interviews and welfare meetings, arranging occupational health referrals as required and reducing incidents and injuries by improving knowledge of health and safety procedures within the team.I also have certificates for IOSH Health and Safety management and an ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Management.February 2020 i attained my FTA International Transport Manager qualification and have been working alongside various garage agents November 2021 seconded to a role with The AA recruitment team learning valuable lessons with working within the indoor structure and its differing working conditions to the outside role
