Péter Pintér was born on 25th September 1987 in Kapuvár, Hungary. He started his musical studies with classical piano at the age of 10. He continued his classical musical studies in Richter János musical vocational school in Győr from 2001, where his teacher was Ács Lászlóné.Between 2006 and 2010, he attended Liszt Ferenc Music Academy, majoring in jazz piano where his teacher was Kálmán Oláh and he graduated in 2010.His master diplom he had maked in 2016.He was the private student of Jenő Nyári, Béla Szakcsi Lakatos,Péter Rozsnyói.He worked for a month in Göttingen and 6 month in a Silver Spirit and Azura ships as a barpianist.He has worked with many internationally famous jazz musicians such as Zoltán Csörsz (drums_Sveden),Ed Thingpen (drums_member of the legendary Oscar Peterson trio),János Egri (double bass, base guitar),Attila László (guitar_professor of the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy),Roland Balogh ( winner of the 2009 Montreux jazz guitar competition),Takács Nicolas (singer),Gájer Bálint (singer),Brad Vee Johnson (USA-singer),Nikoletta Szőke (vocal_winner of the 2002's mountreux jazz-vocal competition).In 2009, Péter Pintér was a guest player of the Montreux jazz piano competition.In 2011, he was invited to Rome by the Hungarian Academy in Rome and the cello teacher and composer of Italian Jazz Conservatoire. In 2011, he won 3rd prize on the Balogh „Csibe” Jenő Jazz Pianist Talent Contest.
