Supervise EEHA Installation to Australian Standards for a Dehydration Package constructed in Red Deer Canada.

Wheatstone LNG

EPS Australia was selected by GE Oil and Gas, to provide Electrical Equipment Hazardous Area Inspections for the massive gas compression systems on QCLNG, APLNG and GLNG, located on Queensland’s Curtis Island (for which Bechtel is the Head Construction Contractor). Once the complexity of the systems are closely evaluated, with each refrigerant compression units comprising gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and generators, the result is approximately 30,000 EEHA items which require detailed electrical inspection.Carried out detailed EEHA electrical inspections on electrical installations and instruments. Executed HA rectification works and completed JSA’s.

As an active member of the operational engineering department, performed new project installations, commissioning and operation of continuous plant, routine/unplanned maintenance, and calibration of equipment. Also implemented the new computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) and calibration system (CMX Beamex).Installed electrical equipment in hazardous areas and dealt with hazardous area dossier compilation and management and hazardous area periodic maintenance management.Upgraded and examined technical drawings/P&ID’s, kept project instrumentation record management, handled instrumentation, calibration and pneumatics, and deployed electrical and instrumentation validations.Developed Beamex instrumentation software, performed calibration planning and management, facilitated instrument data sheets and ordering, and held plant criticality assessments.Proactively involved in commissioning and testing, issuing Permits to Work, and high voltage switching. Accelerated the establishment of the CMMS and ongoing usage and management thereof.Safety Committee Representative, ensured the compliance with all safe operating procedures and systems of work. Achieved and meet the performance standards (KPI’s).
