In my many years as a business professional involved with sales and marketing, I have always focused on listening first and talking later. Customers already know those things that can boost their own business to the next level. My job is to thoroughly understand what the customer feels they need and then creatively develop a program that will significantly fulfill their goals. Helping customers clarify their needs, creatively formulate a plan, and to see it come to fruition is one of my greatest strengths.I’ve found that building a long lasting business relationship with customers, requires honesty, integrity, and forthrightness. Establishing trust is key to any good business relationship.Key accomplishments throughout my career:• Developed and supplied the 1st energy absorbing bumpers for transit busses.• Worked with the Carter Administration to develop the 1st legislation for handicapped accessibility in public transportation• Provided the 1st onboard surveillance systems for both bus and railcars• Developed the 1st “Foldaway” seat to help enable safer positioning for wheelchair access in transit busses.Some of my non-work related passions are:• I started playing hockey at age 4 through the collegiate level. Playing as a defender for Wesleyan University.• I’m very interested in art and antiques , and have been an avid collector of both through my lifetime.• I’ve invested in and renovated several early American and Victorian buildings• I’m an avid owner, breeder and shower of Morgan horses
