Working on our mobile app team, I was responsible for research and implementation of new features. As a young team, I established the scrum patterns for the team’s workflow, along with defining the backlog processes. Using primarily Node.js and React, this project gave insight into refactoring legacy systems, test-driven development, and feature implementation. This team created apps for events and destinations used by tourism bureaus and tourists around the world on both Android and iOS devices. I established coding standards, documented the network, and assisted in prioritizing the backlog.

As a developer, I customized various implementations of our core CRM product to meet client specifications. This included data manipulation, form design, permission structures, and sensitive client information. Additionally, I took over API administration and representation of the platform, which consisted heavily of working across company lines in integrating with client platforms. This also meant working with clients for long builds in a variety of languages. Included in these projects were high priority changes for data propagated on public tourism departments and process documentation. Four months after joining the CRM support development team, I took over API administration and representation. In addition to making modifications to our core product and customizing specific client implementations of our API, I was responsible to discuss with clients and third-parties implementation strategies, writing and debugging in many software languages across clients. This involved working projects across company lines and over long site builds. This roll included creating and maintaining coding standards, training new employees on API usage, and data manipulation.

As an Amadeus Developer, I worked on the Qantas Airlines Competency team, specifically designing customer currency and loyalty processing. This automatic targeted sales technique is responsible for a high percentage of their annual gross profit. I stabilized legacy systems by documenting and supporting the team as it transitioned to a web services model.
