I have worked as chef for 32 years in a variety of roles, working my way up through the culinary career ladder.Qualified to 7061 & 7062 with intermediate hygiene & kitchen management qualification. Most recently took PTTLS to aid with my skill in training and mentoring budding future chefs.In order to aim for work life balance I started my own business with my wife in 2005 - Call in The Caterers' - outside catering and event management company offering catering for private and corperate clients. We can cater for upto 500 covers if needed but specialise in Weddings of approx 120 covers.In 2008 we opened our retail arm The Gastronomy Shop - a small Deli in Gnosall, Staffordshire selling home made and local food. The Coffee shop was developed a year later and now offers tourists and locals a great cuppa and tasty meals.Specialties: Local food retailing, baking of own range of patisserie, event planning, front of house management, marketing of food tourism based business.
