Industrial Sales Manager specialising in high performance PTFE hose assemblies for automotive, aerospace and industrial applications.PTFE is unique in it's high temperature capabilities and resistance to most known chemicals. It is ideal for hose assemblies used in arduous and challenging environments. On a vehicle, this can be around the turbocharger, oil coolers, braking systems, clutch lines or exhaust gas systems. PTFE hoses are resistant to all known hydrocarbon based fluids.

I built the Drivers Alliance from a fledgling organisation in June 2008 to one of the largest (by membership) and most influential drivers organisations in the UK today.The Drivers' Alliance has partnered and merged with the Association of British Drivers to now become the Alliance of British Drivers.Successfully built relationships with and lobbied both ministers and government on the issues of road pricing and transport taxation with many published articles in both national newspapers and specialist transport related magazines.Prepared a detailed submission for, and have given evidence to the Transport Select Committee in Westminster on the issues of transport taxation. Has been a panel member in several 'question time' style debates, the most recent at the British Chamber of Commerce AGM in Birmingham.I have appeared in several television programs such as The Politics Show, Sky News, BBC News, Midlands Today, Newsnight, Dispatches and BBCs 'Week in Week Out' along with several radio programs, often debating transport related issues with ministers like Gwyneth Dunwoody, Stephen Ladyman or Hazel Blears.

Created and maintained strong customer relationships which lead to ongoing sales and the long term development of new business. Success in this role includes winning business in Honda on both CRV and Civic. Also in Nissan for the Micra, P32L and F91A/B. Products are mostly rubber based and include hoses for water, fuel and air applications.

Sales of the companies products to Automotive OEMs and second tier suppliers. Responsible for maintaining and profitably growing existing accounts whilst also looking for new opportunities. Main customers were Japanese car manufacturers along with European such as Volvo and JLR.
