Worked in an agile department with a team of talented IT professionals to help implement test automation across all products with an eye on future development. My role at Vaultex was to help drive automation of testing wherever possible for Databases, Websites and APIs. Working closely with the SDET I helped develop an overarching framework from which all our tests could be run.

Having learned how to code a Selenium Automation Framework I was keen to work with Genting who took me on primarily to focus on creating Automation Tests for their websites. Unfortunately shortly after joining the decision was made to relocate the Liverpool offices to Birmingham and I was unable to relocate with them. During my time with Genting I created a C# Selenium framework using NUnit to run with the SmartBear program Test Complete in order to test multiple web based products.

Expanding from being the sole QA presence on a development team to leading my team during the testing of a new platform. Outlining of testing needs, selecting tools, creating test plans and developing my teams skills as new tools are implemented for the new project are amongst my new duties. Focusing heavily on UX/UI testing we aim to help create software that anyone can sit down and use with minimal coaching allowing our clients to adopt our services as easily as possibleIn addition to the new platform my team is also responsible for testing fix updates for the existing company products and ensuring confidence prior to go-live on software updates.
